Homeland security bulletin where Trump terrorists could plan further attacks

The Department of Homeland Security issued a new bulletin advising that domestic terrorists inspired by the Capitol Rebellion could plan further attacks.

CNN reported:

Acting DHS Secretary David Pekoske published the National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin “Due to an increased threat environment in the United States,” which DHS believes will persist in the weeks following the President’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

“Information suggests that some ideologically motivated violent extremists objecting to the exercise of state authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived ills caused by false stories, may continue to mobilize to instigate or commit violence,” it said in the bulletin.

People like Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), who continue to advance the big lie that the election was stolen, are providing fuel for domestic terrorists to plan further attacks.

The threat is far from over. The American people and government must remain vigilant because, through their disinformation and lies, the Republicans have armed a domestic terrorist cell. The words matter, so if Republican Congressmen are pushing the big lie for their own political gain, or cable news presenters on Fox News continue to deny the legitimacy of the Biden presidency, or Republicans try to sweep the insurgency under the carpet, those decisions inspire native terrorists.

Trump activated a domestic terrorist cell, and the Homeland Security warning is a sign that Republican rhetoric is life-threatening.
