If you’re looking for a way to glow in the dark, then this guide is for you. Vegetables is a all-natural way to glow, and it’s something that we as women have been asking about for years. The answer is simple: use your own ingredients and use them safe at all. With examples of recipes and ingredients, you’ll be able to make this step by step.
1) Rosehip oil.
Rosehip oil is one of the best natural oils for your skin , and it’s also got antioxidant properties. It’s a dewy oil that can give you that glow from the inside that you’ve been looking for, and it’s also very anti-aging. It will help reduce the dark spots on your face, but it will not counteract aging completely. It’s got omega 3, 6, and 9 in it so it helps to give your skin a healthy glow as well. You can get it at any vitamin store or health food store, or you can buy virgin rosehip oil online. There are a couple of brands online but we recommend The Essential Beauty Organics Rosehip Oil.
2) Avocado Oil
Avocado oil is great because you can use it in different lotions depending on what you want to do with them. If you want to make your own lotion with avocado oil then this recipe is perfect. It is similar to coconut oil in its consistency because of where the fruit grows from (chocolate color), so this recipe is perfect for winter time when our skin is dry. Avocado oil helps our skin to look young and healthy, but it also has all the vitamins our skin needs to keep it looking that way. It’s an ingredient that is loved, and some people like the fact that it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on your skin. This recipe is good for all skin types, but if you have oily or acne-prone skin then you may want to include some extra oils such as jojoba oil or sweet almond oil into the mix. You can use this recipe for lotion or body oils .
3) Pumpkin Seed Oil
This one is just a personal favorite of mine, plus pumpkin seed extract has many antioxidants. You will need 16oz (1/2 gallon) sunflower seed extract or 10 ounces (1/4 gallon) pumpkin seed extract for this mixture – Costs about $8 at walmart- This mixture will last quite sometime! We live in Florida so we use this mixture on our clothes when they get suntanned- 4 tablespoons coconut oil (Note: We have been using this recipe for over 10 years and we do not need to reorder this item! We LOVE IT!) 4 tablespoons olive oil (Note: This is a personal favorite of ours. It helps our skin stay soft and supple.) 3 tablespoons castor oil (Note: Castor oil will help your skin tone even out, while the coconut and olive oils give your skin a healthy glow) 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon essential oil 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg essential oil 1/4 teaspoon peppermint essential oil.
4) L-Arginine
L-arginine is an amino acid that some people just don’t seem to get enough of, or their bodies just can’t use it. It is used in cosmetics to make fine lines less visible and wrinkles smoother and less pronounced – Costs around $1 at walmart – It’s important to get enough L-Arginine in your diet, but it is also important to be aware that it can be found naturally in some foods depending on where you live. You should also talk with your doctor about adding extra L-Arginine into your routine if you aren’t getting enough from your diet or if you have health conditions like PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) that make it hard for your body to use the L-Arginine you are already getting. Some people also get these symptoms from Arginine overuse.
They typically start out with healthier looking skin, but then their skin starts turning more oily and acne prone as the drug starts building up in their system. If this happens to you, then you need to back down on the dosage or switch L-Arginine products altogether. L-Arginine is a great ingredient for creams because it has been shown to help fill in fine lines and wrinkles and give your skin a smoother appearance – Costs around $10 at walmart – You only need a few drops of this! I like to put my hands into my cream after applying it so that it sinks in faster and doesn’t pool on the outside on my hands when I apply some lotion afterwords.
5) Vitamin E
Vitamin E is another ingredient that some people just seem to run low of naturally or can’t use. It is an antioxidant, which means your body needs a certain amount of them or they will damage your cells, including cell membranes – Costs around $1 at walmart – When you buy vitamin E at the store, you need to know that it is different than the rose hips in your natural foods. Rose hips are high in ROS (rotating electrons) which helps make vitamin E, but also causes damage. Only buy rosehip oil from a natural foods store. This can be hard to find at times, but there is always one somewhere near you! The above product is my favorite: COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask . It contains all sorts of goodies, including my two favorite oils – honey and avocado.
6) Chili Peppers
You probably don’t think of chili peppers as a beauty ingredient, but many people swear by them for their skin. They are said to give you more energy and boost metabolism by burning off your fat stores – Costs around $3 at walmart – Chili peppers help stimulate circulation, stimulate digestion and give a nice level of heat against your body temperature – This will allow your body to sweat more effectively while increasing circulation which will also flush out toxins that cause inflammation and breakouts – You can eat these peppers or rub them directly on your skin – If they burn or sting you then they aren’t working. I have found that I have less acne when I eat these peppers.
